MARCH QUILT RETREAT
You’re invited to historic Hermann, MO, for the ultimate quilt retreat!
I’m excited to announce that Quilting Bee Fabrics will host a THREE-day Spring Quilt Retreat from March 19-21, 2024, at the Vinchester Inn in downtown Hermann, MO. Bring your sewing machine and favorite notions; we’ll provide the rest! The retreat price includes 3 meals, snacks, 2 project kits (Dutch Days quilt and Mondo bag), VIP shopping and a swag bag. The goal is that you don’t have to lift a finger to do anything but sew while you are at the retreat.

Quilting Bee Fabrics is all about giving quilters a relaxed, fun atmosphere in which you can learn new techniques, make new friends, and of course, sew!
The retreat check-in begins on Tuesday morning, March 19 at the Vinchester Inn event space.
Each quilter is provided at least a 3′ space at a table with access to two cutting and two pressing stations.
The rate for commuter friends is $295/person. Add lodging for $137/night.
Quilt Retreat Projects
Included in your retreat reservation will be two great projects!
On Tuesday afternoon we will begin on the Mondo tote bag. Aimee will demo this fun tote by Quiltsmart; it’s an easy sew using a super smart technique with printed interfacing. You will sew this bag up in a jiffy and thanks to the pre-printed interfacing and your intersections will match effortlessly. All products for this bag are included in your retreat reservation.
On Wednesday, Aimee will show how to transform a Layer Cake into the Dutch Days quilt from the Fast & Fun Lap Quilt book. The Layer Cake, background fabric and the book are all included in your retreat.
Feel free to bring your unfinished projects from home or drop in at Quilting Bee Fabrics to purchase anything you may want to start new. The projects are included in the retreat; however, you do not have to join in on the projects.

What to expect
Sewing tables & chairs – Seating is first come, first served. We have seating for 18 people. Four 10-foot wooden tables will seat 3 people at each and three 6-foot/8-foot tables with 2 people per table. Medal folding chairs are provided at each spot; you may want to bring a nice cushion.
There will be at least two cutting and ironing tables throughout the room. Extension cords are also provided.
Meals & Snacks – Included in your reservation will be three meals, snacks, beverages, and a happy hour. Lunch on Tuesday will be a deli tray of lunch meat and cheese, fresh fruit, and vegetables. The catered dinner on Tuesday evening will be chicken fettuccini alfredo, salad and bread, and homemade pie for dessert. Wednesday’s lunch will be homemade soup and salad. Iced tea, coffee, and water will be available all three days, and packaged snacks. If you require any dietary restrictions, please message Aimee at aimee@quiltingbeefabrics.com.

LODGING AT VINCHESTER INN
Lodging is not included in the base retreat rate but can be made through Quilting Bee Fabrics. The all-inclusive room rate for the 2 nights of the retreat is $274.
Vinchester Inn has 11 rooms designed to be simple, clean, modern, and highly functional. 5 rooms have 2 double beds and can sleep up to 4 people and 5 rooms with a king bed to accommodate 2 people per room. The Inn also has 1 ADA room with 1 queen bed for up to 2 guests.

This retreat is only refundable 60 days in advance. In the event that you register then are unable to come, you may transfer this registration to someone else. Please contact us if you transfer the reservation.
