One of Moda Fabrics’ top designers will be coming to Quilting Bee Fabrics in Hermann, MO. Saturday, November 20, 2021, Crystal Manning with Moda Fabrics will be sharing several of her projects and quilts showcasing her latest collections of fabrics. In addition to the trunk show, Manning will be teaching a class Saturday afternoon.
Crystal Manning grew up in Missouri and received her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Missouri State University and minored in Art Design. Manning worked as a graphic designer for ten years before she ordered her first sewing machine and began teaching herself how to sew utilizing her fabric designs she printed at Spoonflower fabrics. Fabric design quickly became a passion for her. Manning currently lives in Kansas City, Missouri, where she creates beautiful, nature-inspired, vibrant materials.
Aimee Viehmann, the owner of Quilting Bee Fabrics, commented, “I hope this Meet the Designer weekend will inspire the area quilters to work with Crystal’s bright, happy, and quality fabrics and to encourage Hermann’s youth to pick up the hobby of quilting utilizing modern patterns and fabrics.“
Saturday’s event will be a special day where Crystal will have her trunk show to showcase her newest fabrics, projects, and patterns. Then at 2 PM, she will have a particular class to teach a sew-along Charming Placemats project. The day will conclude with a late afternoon VIP shopping.
