Grab your scraps and your sense of humor and join us at Quilting Bee Fabrics in Hermann, MO, for a fun, relaxed Spring Quilt Retreat — Tuesday, 03/31/2026 through Thursday, 04/02/2026 — where Aimee will introduce you to foundation paper piecing using Scrappy Square papers; you’ll get a generous 3′+ sewing spot, access to cutting and pressing stations, a swag bag filled with FPP goodies, snacks and beverages, and plenty of time to work on WIPs or shop for new inspiration — meals are on your own, so come stitch, snack, laugh, and make new quilting friends in a low-pressure, welcoming atmosphere (spaces are limited, so sign up soon!).

Spring Quilt Retreat — Introduction to Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP)

Pack your scraps and your sense of adventure — join us for a relaxed, giggle-filled retreat all about Foundation Paper Piecing with Scrappy Square papers! Aimee will show you the tricks to accurate, snappy FPP so you’ll be stitching like a pro (or at least having a blast trying). Perfect for curious beginners and anyone who loves bright scraps and new techniques.

• 3 cutting stations and 3 pressing stations ready for action
• A guided Scrappy Square FPP project with friendly, step-by-step help

• Your sewing machine
• Your bucket of scraps (the scrappier, the better!)

Quilt Retreat Project

Included in your retreat reservation will be a FPP (foundation paper piecing)kit! 

Feel free to bring your unfinished projects from home or drop in at Quilting Bee Fabrics to purchase anything you may want to start new. The projects are included in the retreat; however, you do not have to join in on the projects.

What to expect

Sewing tables & chairs – Seating is first come, first served. We have seating for 8 people. Medal folding chairs are provided at each spot; you may want to bring a nice cushion.

There will be at least three cutting and ironing stations throughout the class room. Extension cords are also provided.

Snacks & Drinks – Iced tea, lemonade, coffee and water will be available all three days and packaged snacks. If you require any dietary restrictions, please message Aimee at aimee@quiltingbeefabrics.com.

This retreat is only refundable 60 days in advance. In the event that you register then are unable to come, you may transfer this registration to someone else. Please contact us if you transfer the reservation.
